Ron premiered Crap From The Past on WRUR-FM in 1992, leaving the pop hits to the competing "retro" shows that sprouted in his wake, and concentrating on the lost gems that comprise most of his library today.  As Ron went off to grad school and moved around the country, the show moved with him, airing on college and non-commercial stations across the country.

In 1999, Ron found the show's current home at KFAI-FM. Listeners trust Ron as a pop music historian and curator, particularly when it comes to the bottom half of the pop charts... those overlooked songs you never heard, including some you're glad you didn't.

Ron has a Ph.D. in Optics and has 22 issued U.S. Patents to his name.  This doesn't have much to do with his radio career, but it makes his mother very proud.
