Since 1992, Ron "Boogiemonster" Gerber has been the sole host of Crap From The Past, a weekly radio program that features the underplayed jewels and duds of yesterday.  Crap From The Past has become a weekly habit for Ron's loyal fans, most of whom discovered the show after growing jaded by the manufactured "retro" shows on commercial stations.

Ron got his start in 1986 at the University of Rochester (WRUR-AM) as host of a show he called "Ron Is On."  The following year, Ron became Program Director of the station, where he trained more than 110 budding DJs in the basics of broadcasting.  Additional radio experience includes a year at a commercial top 40 station (98PXY in Rochester) and as a regular call-in character on the KRQ morning show (Tucson).
