Razor and Tie compilation CDs

Razor and Tie started off in the early 1990s as a reissue company, and put out the first 1970s pop compilation, "Those Fabulous '70s". It was mind-numbing up-the-middle pop, and it did well enough to make Razor and Tie a viable corporate entity. These are all 1- or 2-CD sets, cut from a similar cloth as "Those Fabulous '70s", and I recommend all of them.

This isn't a complete list, but I have a few other Razor and Tie collections worth hunting down. Both '70s collections and the first four '80s collections below are mastered by Steve Hoffman, a mastering engineer who used to work for the Dunhill Compact Classics (DCC) label, and did the sound for the "Rock The First" and "Cosmopolitan" compilations. His CDs are especially prized by some audiophiles. In addition to "Easy '70s" above, the collections below are comparable to many of the Warner Special Products compilations (i.e., not necessarily the lowest-generation source tapes, but no additional noise reduction, no weird EQ, and nice volume levels with no clipping or additional compressing/limiting.)
